The European Society of Cosmetic Dentistry was founded 20 years ago by a group of visionary dentists from all over Europe. The mission of our society, from the beginning, was to promote excellence in aesthetic dentistry. Provide leadership in the profession by defining the highest ethical standards, and foster interdisciplinary communication and research through publications and educational presentations.

“Life is a journey. If you fall in love with the journey, you will be in love forever” I am among the lucky ones, having been part of the ESCD family almost since its beginning. With the help of my colleagues, I have had the opportunity to develop and become a certified member. Besides the academic rewards, the most important thing during all these years has been the close friendships formed with my peers from all over the world.

The ESCD means very much to me. Since joining in 2011, many things have changed in my professional life thanks to the organisation.  The ESCD is not a standard association. The most beautiful thing in the ESCD is that I made new friendships that I’m sure will last for a lifetime. After the certification process, things fell into place, the ESCD gave me the possibility to advance by increasing my visibility - something it does for all of its members.
