    Prof. Christos Angelopoulos is very professional and openminded person. Here you are some information about him from the internet “ Dr. Angelopoulos is a graduate of the Aristotle University, School of Dentistry, Thessaloniki, Greece. His postdoctoral training includes a 2-yr internship in Oral Surgery (Aristotle University, 1997) and a 1-yr GPR program (Truman Medical Center, Kansas City, 1999). In addition, he has completed a 3-yr Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology residency program at University of Missouri-Kansas City, School of Dentistry (2001) and he was awarded the MS degree in Oral Biology (2002). Dr. Angelopoulos is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology and a fellow of the International College of Oral Implantologists. He is an Associate Professor of Clinical Dental Medicine and serves as the Director of the Division of Oral & Maxillofacial Radiology, College of Dental Medicine. His duties at the College of Dental Medicine include teaching of advanced imaging modalities to the predoctoral and doctoral dental students, maxillofacial radiology consulting and research mentoring. Dr. Angelopoulos is currently serving as the Councilor of Academy Affairs of the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology (AAOMR). He is a reviewer for JADA, OOOOE, Dento-maxillofacial Radiology and the Journal of Contemporary Dental Practice. He has published 20 scientific papers and has spoken in several conventions, congresses and CE courses, nationally as well as internationally, on a variety of radiology topics. His main research interests include diagnostic ultrasound, cone beam computed tomography, implant imaging etc. Dr Angelopoulos is licensed in the States of Missouri and in New York.

In 1993, he obtained his doctoral degree in Prosthodontics (Dr med dent) from the University of Freiburg (Prof. Dr. J.R. Strub), Germany. Following his professional training, Dr. Pelekanos established a private practice in Athens, oriented towards prosthodontics, implantology and esthetic dentistry.
